When many players come to a new Destiny 2 project, they are faced with a misunderstanding of the main mechanics – leveling and subclass systems, raids and strikes, content updates and others.
To figure out which class is better to play, where to pump and earn shine, which subclass to give preference to, you need to read the guides.
Classes
Titan is a warrior and protector, armed with small arms and steel fists. Wears heavy armor and can use a shield to protect himself and allies.
Warlock is a shooter and mage from the MMO shooter world. Able to inflict heavy damage to enemies with the help of magic and create special wells that will heal allies and impose buffs on them that increase their effectiveness in battle.
The Hunter is a ranged shooter and dagger master. Can use various types of weapons and camouflage. The hunter is indispensable in PVP and raids due to strong damage, but the class is vulnerable and requires good defense and healing.
Character leveling
Level plays a key role in the strength and capabilities of the character. It opens up access to new content, raids and strikes, strengthens the hero and allows him to wear more advanced equipment and weapons that he will get in raids.
The level can be obtained in several ways:
- Order Destiny 2 boost from professional players. The booster will get access to your account and provide the service of pumping the character to the maximum level. To ensure anonymity, VPN is used, and the service is responsible for the safety of personal data. The status of the service can be monitored online on the website, after completing the order, it is recommended to change the password for security reasons.
- Complete main and secondary quests. Tasks in Destiny 2 are designed to upgrade the player, reward him with sparkles and equipment with weapons, discover new mechanics and gradually increase the level of difficulty so that the player fully gets used to the project. Story quests will bring the main experience and glitter, moving you between NPCs and locations. Secondary tasks are issued and often performed at the same game locations, but have completely different rewards. You need to carefully look at the rewards in optional tasks – if there is experience, glitter or equipment, then it makes sense to take such a quest, subject to quick completion and the same location.
- System of contracts – secondary tasks that are issued by a mercenary in the main city and allow you to gain experience for completing accumulation tasks. Contracts are daily and weekly. Tasks are killing certain monsters, shooting in the head, attacking with a certain type of weapon, and many others. You must complete the contract within the duration of its validity, otherwise it will be updated without a reward. If you completed all the tasks before the update, you can pay for replacement contracts for glitter and convert money into experience in this way.
- Strikes and raids – bosses and everything connected with them have always been a source of increased experience, which, although shared by all participants, is rewarded by developers who challenge difficult zones and spend time defeating the boss. Strikes are mini-raids for three players, in which you need to defeat the boss and his retinue for a reward in the form of equipment of the appropriate level and experience. Raids are a full-fledged combat zone for large groups of players to go through. The most difficult, mythic raids, require at least 15 people to succeed. You must understand that success depends on the teamwork and equipment of each player, potentially many zones can be completed in three and collect all the experience.
Subclasses
Each class chooses one of three (a fourth will be added in the Lightfall update) sub-classes that enhance the main abilities of the class and the character’s focus.
Consider the most optimal bundles at the moment:
Titan – Lightning. Allows you to use a defensive class and a full-fledged tank as a semi-dps. The player will gain the ability to deal magical lightning damage to any targets that get too close. By combining a subclass with a defensive shield, we get a full-fledged class that protects its squad and at the same time contributes to the victory over the enemy.
Warlock – Void. The Warlock has strong magical potential to deal high damage to multiple targets at the same time. Void allows this effect to be enhanced by the additional damage that the Void subclass brings. The effect does not apply to healing and support abilities and only works on damage.
Hunter – Sun. Allows you to turn a long-range shooter into a full-fledged sniper, with the ability to concentrate and inflict huge damage on a target with increased health and armor. Given the hunter’s ability to disguise and evade combat, this will make him indispensable in raids and PVP events.
PVP events
Destiny 2 has a seasonal event – the Trial of Osiris. In it, players are divided into teams and fight against each other for a series of victories and the opportunity to receive a seasonal reward – a legendary weapon.
You can stop at 3, 5 and 7 wins in a row. Only 7 victories in a row will obviously bring the most valuable reward, which will really significantly strengthen your character.
If you often lose, do not despair – the matches go quickly. Just try again, use grenades and territory to gain an advantage over the enemy.
