Unfortunately, we’re CONSTANTLY forced to re-evaluate our priorities thanks to recent home and car repairs.
Then again, I guess it does have the benefit of making us really think about what we want to do with our money. And apparently one of the things we want to do is eat too much fast food. It’s a process.

That was beautiful! I loved the people parachuting down the deep cave — gorgeous!

I know the answer to this one; if money was no object I’ll write novels – ones that people want to rad but also gently educate about philosophy, literature and art. And will run charities.

If you say that money is the most important, you will completely waste your life. Well said. Though the were/was grammar really gets me riled up — perhaps I should lighten up a bit!

If money wasn’t an issue, I’d be out of a job! Ha ha! I’d still like to travel and/or live abroad, so I have this to work towards.

If money wasn’t an issue… I’d like to travel too! Wait.. that’s what I am doing! Money is still an issue, but I figure it out as I go, living my dream. You only get one life…

Absolutely fantastic Joe! I enjoy spending time with my kids and thankfully I get a lot of time to do it. We spend so much time working to spend money on things we can’t afford, to buy things we don’t need, to impress people we don’t even know!

Your video reminded me that I took the right track. For the last 27 years, I managed to to do what I like to do. Thanks to reaching financial freedom, I was able to pursue all the things I like to do. It was worth any sacrifices I made early!

So many things. I’d be playing more beach volleyball and doing some more traveling. I’d probably still be doing something with video or writing, but I’d be much more relaxed about it, only doing projects I’m passionate about on my own terms. Right now, that isn’t possible (sorry dude in video) ๐

This is such a moving target for me, but right now this would probably be my list:
1. I would take a year off, train for, and compete in an Ironman.
2. Live in a latin american country for a few years and make some babies.
3. Teach personal finance to high schoolers. (At least I think I’d like that)
This may change.

LOVE! I’m in school right now to reenter the field of interpreting. Which I absolutely love. It’s amazing what a difference it makes to enjoy what you do. I would also love to travel. All the time. But I have kids. Which is something else I really wanted out of life, too. And I think they need a bit of stability.

This is so inspirational! It made me want to show it to everyone I know and watch it in the morning when I wake up before starting my day. It really is important to think about these types of philosophies every day so that you don’t get sucked into doing something you don’t like doings “That is stupid!”

This is a killer find! It is really important for people to realize this. Unfortunately, there are parents that force their kids into attending schools and getting degrees in something they have no interest in because they is what they feel is right.
People needs to have the option to do what they want to do and what makes them happy.
I can say, that i am doing things that make me happy and i am living my dream!
